Ben & Jerry’s
Ben & Jerry’s is a nationwide favorite for amazing and unique ice cream. Starting in Burlington, VT, Ben and Jerry’s Scoop Shops are spread across the United States. They are known for their commitment to fair trade and ethical ingredient sourcing.
They are well-known for dishing out some of the most creative ice cream flavors available, from “Whiskey Biz” (brown butter bourbon with blondies and whiskey caramel swirls) to “Netflix & Chill’d” (peanut butter ice cream, pretzel swirls, and fudge brownies).
New at the Gig Harbor Scoop Shop now are “Change is Brewing,” “Dirt Cake,” and “Mint Chocolate Chance.”
Perfect for a pit stop at the end of a hot summer’s day, Ben and Jerry’s is a must-visit.
If you are looking for a perfect Northwest burger stop, Blazing Onion is for you. With eight stores throughout Washington, Blazing Onion serves up more than 25 different unique burgers made with high-quality ingredients.
Blazing Onion is far from limited to your standard beef burgers. Be sure to try out the Monterey Turkey Burger or the Buffalo Burger. Vegetarians will also be happy, with multiple meat-free burgers, including several bean burgers and Impossible burgers.
The Gig Harbor location was the first to have a massive, adults-only sports lounge, with a separate, calmer area for families to enjoy dinner. Enjoy craft brews and cocktails while enjoying the game with your friends.

Cutter’s Point Coffee
Get your day out on the town started right with a cup of local artisan coffee at Cutter’s Point. With amazing coffee beans sourced directly from farmers, Cutter’s Point roasts the coffee in small, high-quality batches.

Pizza is the ultimate chill night out dinner, and Fondi Pizzeria is sure to be a huge hit. Popular for their brick-oven pizzas, Fondi’s is hands-down one of Gig Harbor’s local favorite.

Gertie and the Giant Octopus
With a name based on the local legend of the fallen Galloping Gertie bridge and the world’s largest octopus living within it, this chic restaurant is one of the freshest places to eat in Gig Harbor.
Known for amazing seasonal menus, this restaurant focuses on European cuisine with a Pacific Northwestern flair. The vision of head chef Kieran McMeekin shines bright at Gertie’s. Having traveled around the globe and worked at some of the finest restaurants, his menu artfully combines classic European dining with local touches.
The wine menu is also well-known in the Gig Harbor community, having been uniquely tailored by McMeekin, also a trained sommelier. For a little extra fun, join the wine club for Charctuerie Wednesdays and try all the variety Gertie and the Giant Octopus has to offer.
For sophisticated American cuisine and craft cocktails, check out Green.House. Recently, Chef Erik Smith and his wife Krystle purchased Green.House in December of 2021. Erik and Krystle are a dynamic team with extensive fine dining experience including classical French training and extensive wine and beverage training.
You’ll feel good about Green.House’s focus on sustainability while enjoying the local meat, fish, and produce. Green House aims to complement clean ingredients with simple pairings, allowing the freshness of the food to shine.

Lele Thai and Vietnamese
For some of the brightest flavors in the Gig Harbor community, be sure to stop by Lele Thai and Vietnamese. Lele Thai and Vietnamese is a family-owned and operated Southeast Asian restaurant with a rich history and a close-knit family atmosphere.
After emigrating to the United States with her parents from Vietnam, Lele has worked in many restaurants through the years. Lele’s focuses on amazing food and a community spirit.
Be sure to try the Phở, a hearty and flavorful Vietnamese noodle dish. Lele’s has several varieties available to try, and each is deliciously warm and refreshing.
The Vietnamese Bird’s Nest is another featured specialty at Lele’s. A large serving of sautéed vegetables, meat, and signature sauce rest atop a nest of deep-fried egg noodles. Crispy, flavorful, and delicious, this traditional Vietnamese dish will be sure to satisfy.
Popular nationwide, Panera Bread is great for those looking for an upscale fast food option. The menu is packed with tasty sandwiches, hot soup, and fresh salads. The mac and cheese is very popular at Panera and is one of the best-selling menu items.
