4. Winter Sip & Stroll

Once you arrive at this event on April 30th, you’ll be given a tasting glass and map you can follow to over 20 businesses that are participating. Aside from a medley of Northwest wines and spirits, people will enjoy lots of finger foods as well.
Complimentary transportation makes it easier to get to all the locations if you’d rather sit back and enjoy the ride. Although your cover charge comes with 15 sip tickets, you can buy extra ones for a modest fee if you’d like to sip even more than that.
5. Stand-Up Comedy With David Koechner

6. Joe Hisaishi Symphonic Concert
From June 30th to July 2nd, Tacoma locals and tourists will have an opportunity to experience live music from some of the most beloved animated films of all time. Joe Hisaishi’s musical scores have accompanied such classics as Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke.
This is an event that both kids and adults are sure to get excited about. If you have the time, it could be a lot of fun to have a marathon of as many Studio Ghibli movies as possible before the event.
The performance will include a full symphonic orchestra and choir to bring the films to life in a whole new way.
